This is a joint initiative of four universities under a collaborative Project called Selamat, implemented with NGO partners and Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network. (ADRRN) . The Project was funded by European Union through UN ISDR. The Collaboration lead to the formation of Asian University Network Of Environment and Disaster Management (AUEDM) to enhance field based action research and education.
